How to Use This Tool

  1. 1.Enter your network name (SSID). Copy it exactly, including capitals and spaces.
  2. 2.Enter the password and pick the security type. WPA / WPA2 covers almost all home routers; choose “None” only for open networks.
  3. 3.Tick “Hidden network” if your network is hidden. Otherwise phones will not find it from the code alone.
  4. 4.Download the PNG and print it. Stick it in a guest room, café table or office wall.
  5. 5.Test it first. Scan with your own phone to confirm it joins before you share it.

Yes. Both iPhone (iOS 11+) and Android (10+) recognise Wi-Fi QR codes: point the camera at the code and tap the prompt to join the network without typing the password.

Is my Wi-Fi password uploaded anywhere?

No. The QR code is built entirely in your browser — your network name and password never leave this page, and nothing is saved or tracked.

What if my network is open (no password)?

Choose “None” as the security type. The code then carries no password field, and guests join the open network directly when they scan it.
