Trig uses degrees. Your keyboard works too: digits, + − * /, Enter for =, Backspace to delete.

🧮 How to Use This Scientific Calculator

  1. 1.Type or tap a number. Use the on-screen pad or your physical keyboard — both work.
  2. 2.Chain operations like a real calculator. Enter 2, tap xʸ, enter 10, tap = for 1024. Operations apply left to right as you go.
  3. 3.Function buttons act on the number on screen. Enter 30 and tap sin for 0.5; enter 144 and tap √ for 12; enter 5 and tap n! for 120.
  4. 4.Use π and e as ready-made constants. One tap drops the full-precision value into your calculation.
  5. 5.Made a mistake? ⌫ deletes one character, C clears everything and starts over.

❓ FAQ

How do the trig buttons work — degrees or radians?

Angles are in degrees, the way school and most everyday math uses them: sin(30) = 0.5. If you need radians, convert first (180 degrees = π radians).

What does the xʸ button do?

It raises the first number to the power of the second: enter 2, tap xʸ, enter 10, tap = and you get 1024. The x² button is the shortcut for squaring whatever number is on screen.

What is the difference between log and ln?

log is base 10 (log of 1000 = 3) and ln is the natural log, base e (ln of about 2.718 = 1). Both act on the number currently on screen.

Is this scientific calculator free?
