🖼️ How to Use This Image Format Converter

  1. 1.Drop in an image. Drag a PNG, JPG or WebP file onto the box, or tap it to browse your device.
  2. 2.Pick the output format. JPG for sharing, WebP for websites, PNG for transparency and crisp graphics.
  3. 3.Adjust quality for JPG and WebP. 92% is near-identical to the original; lower values make much smaller files. PNG is always lossless, so the slider hides for PNG.
  4. 4.Compare the result. The panel shows the new file size next to the original, plus the exact size change.
  5. 5.Download with one tap. The converted file saves with the correct extension — .jpg, .webp or .png — automatically.

❓ FAQ

Does my image get uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API — your file never leaves your device, is never uploaded, saved or tracked. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.

Which format should I choose — PNG, JPG or WebP?

Choose JPG for photos you want to share anywhere — it is small and opens on every device. Choose WebP for websites — it is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality. Choose PNG when you need transparency or crisp text and logos, but expect a much larger file for photos.

What happens to transparency when I convert to JPG?

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are placed on a white background during conversion. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG or WebP instead — both support transparent backgrounds.

Is this image format converter free?

Yes — 100% free, no sign-up, no watermarks and no file limits. Convert as many images as you like, one at a time.
