  2. 2.Fill in find and replace. A word, a name, a whole phrase — or leave "Replace with" empty to delete every match.
  3. 3.Set match case if it matters. Turn it on when "Cat" the name and "cat" the animal must be treated differently.
  4. 4.Replace and copy. Your original stays untouched above, so you can copy the result — or feed it back in with "Use result as text" for another round.

How does replace all work here?

Type the word or phrase to find and what to replace it with, then press "Replace all". Every occurrence in your text is swapped at once and the tool tells you exactly how many replacements were made.

What does the match case option do?

With match case off, finding "cat" also replaces "Cat" and "CAT". With match case on, only the exact capitalization you typed is replaced — useful when a capitalized name and a lowercase word share the same letters.

Can I remove a word everywhere by replacing it?

Yes — leave the "Replace with" box empty and press "Replace all". Every occurrence of the find text is deleted from the result. Your original text is never changed until you press the button, so you can experiment safely.
