📅 How to Use This Date Difference Calculator

  1. 1.Pick a start and an end date. The total number of calendar days between them appears instantly — weekends, holidays and leap days all included, just like a real calendar.
  2. 2.Read the span in weeks or months. Long spans are easier to plan with in weeks and approximate months, so all three figures are shown together.
  3. 3.Deadlines and due dates. Use the add-days mode below the results: enter today, add 90, and you have the exact date a 90-day deadline lands on.
  4. 4.Counting back works too. Choose subtract to find the date a fixed number of days before an event — handy for booking windows and notice periods.
  5. 5.Need an inclusive count? The standard difference counts elapsed days. If both the first and last day should count, add 1 to the total.

❓ FAQ

How many days are between two dates?

Count every calendar day from the start date to the end date, including any leap days in between. From January 1, 2026 to October 30, 2026 there are exactly 302 days. This calculator does the counting for any two dates, past or future, and also shows the same span in weeks and approximate months.

Does the day count include both the start and end date?

The standard day difference counts the days elapsed between the two dates, so January 1 to January 2 is 1 day, not 2. If you need an inclusive count that covers both the first and the last day — for example, counting every day of a hotel stay or a rental — simply add 1 to the result.

How do I add or subtract days from a date?

Use the second calculator on this page: pick a starting date, enter the number of days, and choose add or subtract. Adding 30 days to January 1, 2026 lands on January 31, 2026, and subtracting 30 days lands on December 2, 2025 — month and year boundaries and leap years are handled automatically.
